Thanks for your best wishes, Sophia. This branch of the family has so far been the toughest to trace. Cemetery records and post 1900 census records haven't yeilded results. Perhaps Elizabeth remarried after the death of her husband and the children took their step-father's name. Perhaps they just divorced, hence no cemetery record for George. To top it off there are other non-related George/Elizabeth Schmucks in Cleveland as well. All, an intrigueing mystery which I love to work on, when I can find the time!
