: : : Looking for descendants of Ches W Schmuck b 1895 in Cleveland, OH and his brother Edward Schmuck b 1896 Cleveland, OH. They also had a sister. Parents are George b. Ribnik 6, and Elizabeth b. unknown. Elizabeth is shown as the widow of George Schmuck in the 1907 Cleveland phone directory. Residence was 7109 Quincy Ave in 1907. : : Kathy - just wish you all the best as your journey the road to connecting with the Schmucks in the Cleveland area. Hope all is well in Canada. : Thanks for your best wishes, Sophia. This branch of the family has so far been the toughest to trace. Cemetery records and post 1900 census records haven't yeilded results. Perhaps Elizabeth remarried after the death of her husband and the children took their step-father's name. Perhaps they just divorced, hence no cemetery record for George. To top it off there are other non-related George/Elizabeth Schmucks in Cleveland as well. All, an intrigueing mystery which I love to work on, when I can find the time! Thanks again for all your help in the past. : Kathy In regards to the PZ discussion on Cleveland churches, could I trouble someone to either post the contact info for Holy Trinity Church or email it to me. Did the church exist in 1895? Thank you very much. Kathy
