John, I think Rieg might be the town you're looking for.The town of Rog isn't in Gottschee.Some Gottscheer's lived outside of Gottschee itself in the neighboring towns but I don't know their names.

: One of our realitives has said that Amalia (Milka) Zagar was born in the small vilage of Rog. I have not been able to find anything like Rog on any of the maps I have. Does anyone know where this might be?
