My maternal grandparents were 'Fanny (nee) Kump and Franz Knespler. They were from Gottschee. I lived for four years with them in Brooklyn, N.Y. while attending high school, and met many family members and visitors who came to the house regularly. I would be interested in knowing more about the family and the village.
