Jean...I have posted several family photos on this site. I would be very interested if our ancestors are somehow connected. My mother's father was George FITZ of KOFLERN...very close to KERNDORF; his parents were George FITZ & Margaretha FINK of KOFLERN. Their oldest daughter Josefa (Sophie) FITZ married Matthias KINKOPF of KOMUTZEN and they lived in Cleveland, Ohio. ALSO interested in the NY connections with FITZ, as the second oldest sister, Maria (Mary) FITZ immigrated in about 1898, and died in NY in 1904...we have nothing else on her, so please keep me in mind when you are sifting thru your information. **Also note the photographer on the photo taken in Gottschee...R. VERDERBER !!
