Hi, everyone - I'm descended from Joseph and Marie Verderber from Kerndorf who settled in Cleveland with most of their 11 children around the turn of the last century (with a brief stop in Brooklyn, NY). Many of Joseph's siblings and their children also settled in Cleveland at the same time (also via Brooklyn). So, I have lots of names, birth dates, spouses' maiden names but I'm having a tough time sorting everything out between the two generations and the cousins because of duplicate names and overlapping birth date ranges. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Here are the *confirmed* relationships: Joseph Verderber (from Kerndorf) married Marie (from Plaski) - emigrated from Kerndorf with children: 1) Magdalena Verderber (b. 1886 - stayed in Brooklyn) 2) Aloysius (b. 1871/72) m. Josephine Gode (b. ~1883) - Cleveland 3) Helena (b. 1881) m. John Fitz (b. 1869 in Gottschee - second wife. First wife was Mary Deposheg) - Brooklyn Then things get fuzzy because we don't have a confirmed list of the rest of the siblings, but I believe them to be: Rudolph Verderber (b. ~1877) m. Anna _____ - Cleveland Joseph Verderber m. Josephine Kinkopf - Cleveland Alois Verderber (b. ~1897) m. Mary Krische - Cleveland Anton Verderber m. Mary Schmuck - Cleveland George Verderber Franz Verderber Mary Verderber Florence Verderber Anna Verderber Additionally, there were Verdervers (note spelling) living next door to John Fitz and Helena Verderber in New York: Joseph Verderver b. ~1868 married to Josephine Joseph Verderver (b. ~1876) m. to Mary If anyone can help please contact me. Thanks, Jean
