The only names I have to trace the Oswald lineage is that his father was John Oswald and mother was Francis Putzel; Alois' grandparents were Urban Oswald and Agnes Klun. As I have discovered, "Klun" and "Oswald" are Kocevarji sur-names, is "Putzel?"

: My cousin in Slovenia [a non-Oswald] visited Jurjevica for me and said that there was only 1 Oswald buried at the local cemetery. I do believe I have Oswald relatives in Ribnica [Reifnitz], and perhaps Kocevje, but I have lost contact with them...or they are lacking PC capabilites.

: I did look at a Gottschee/Kocevska map and noticed that Ribnica is slightly is out of the county though, yet close.

But Osvald Franc is your relative perhaps and lives in Jurjevica 33 or 46. In telephone directory found. I am from Koèevje otherwise. Jurjevica is removed from Koèevje 20 minutes.
