Austrian Military Service

Has anyone had any luck dealing with the Austrian War Archives in Wien?

My GGG-Uncle, Josef Hogler was killed in Vicenza, Italy in 1860, and I suspect it was while serving in the Austrian Army during the Italian Unification.

Any recommendations on how to go about contacting the War Archives for information?
