I wanted to share this wonderful school picture with the Gottscheer community who frequent this website. Does anyone know the history of the photographer, R. Verderber? Was he based out of the city of Gottschee? Any comments on the approximate year of the photo, location, and who the teacher and students might be are welcome. The scan of the name is from the photo back.
