Due to high amounts of false registrations, auto-registration is disabled.  However you can always email me for registration.  Send your desired User ID, first and last name, and password, and mention your connection with Gottschee.

Once you are registered, you can create new posts, upload pictures, and comment on existing posts. Here’s how to do it.

  1. Under the “Meta” section of the blog menus (along the right), click “Login”.
  2. Provide your user name and password.
  3. Click “Write”.
  4. A box appears for you to write your post. When you’re done, click “Publish”.

Would you like to add a photo? No problem.

  1. On the “Write” page, scroll down and use the blue tab called “Upload” to send your picture up to the blog.
  2. Under the “Browse All” tab, you’ll see your picture. Click on it, and a small pop-up menu will appear.
  3. Next click “Send to editor”. The thumbnail appears in your posting screen. You can reposition by simply dragging the thumbnail to the correct position.
  4. When done, click “Publish”.

Would you like to comment on an existing post?

  1. Below and to the right of the original blog post title, you’ll see a link called “Comments”. Simply fill out the form and click “Submit Comment” to send your comment to the server.
